Oxford Lafayette Habitat for Humanity has completed its sixteenth house. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with this project and the family and friends who put in “sweat equity.”
We're putting the finishing touches on Habitat house #15 and had Ole Miss Big Event volunteers to help on Saturday!! When you view the photos you'll see that among other jobs brush clean-up is ongoing, touch up painting is underway, and a beautiful and functional kitchen has been installed. Good work Big Event volunteers!
The dedication of Oxford-Lafayette Habitat for Humanity house #15 was a very successful event on Saturday. Jason & Lisa are now home owners and opened their home to family, friends and Habitat volunteers. The dedication offered keys to the house, prayers, a bible and symbols such flowers so the house would know beauty and candles so the house would never know darkness....a festive day!
